A little Weekend Update for anyone that may care, haha…

Saturday: Saturday morning we went back to Kaiser for my Ultrasound. We had such a nice technician. She kept telling me how cute I am which made me in a good mood. I’m sure she tells all the pregnant, round ladies that but I basqued in the words anyways.  My stress was all for nothing this week, which is fine by me! The baby is doing fantastic! He’s actually almost 5 lbs. His head is measuring 35 weeks (thanks to Mercer) and the rest of him is pretty much measuring 34 weeks. And yesterday I was supposed to be 33 Weeks. So, who knows when this little guy will actually be making his entrance into this world. It was so relieving to hear that he is doing good. Mercer and I were pretty ecstatic the rest of the day about it.  After that we headed out to Goores to pick up our COMBI  play yard and to purchase a few things there. We got the cutest little hula monkey to hang over the baby’s car-seat and a cute little pair of sockies for him and his first pair of chopsticks! Yes, we realize these won’t be used for a very long time but they are absolutely fucking adorable and they were on sale.  Mercer just came in told me that the chopsticks were the best purchase and that I should add that he cannot wait to pass on his LOVE of sushi to his son and show him how to eat it like a MAN! LOL. Such a dork he is. Off topic but, yesterday as we were walking through the hospital he tells me how cool it would be if when we’re in labor if we could pick a theme… Like football. He said the doctor could be dressed like a referee and the nurses cheerleaders and I of course would be a quarterback. How fucking random is his brain? It did amuse me greatly though.

After that we stopped by NOAHS for some super yummy bagels and then headed home and Mercer put the COMBI together. It’s pretty rad I have to say and that I’m jealous. We have a mini crib already that we were planning on using for the baby while he sleeps in our room but this thing is sofucking awesome that I really would love for him to sleep in it in our room. The mattress vibrates, it lights up and plays music.  Later we headed out to Lincoln for my sisters birthday party and hung out for a bit with everyone and bbq’d. I ate a scrumpcious hot dog! I haven’t had one in soooooo long. I forgot what I was missing out on. 

Sunday: We attempted to take Rocky to the dog park this afternoon but it was closed due to it raining so much lately. So we stopped by Petsmart to buy him a ball and decided we would take him to GB Highschool and play with him there. While we were at the register paying for his new ball, Rocky felt as though that was a GREAT place to take a SHIT! Complete with the little girl in line behind us saying, “ewwww”.  It was awesome, and safe to say the highlight of my weekend. I laughed so hard I was crying all the way to the car. Merce was a bit embarassed.  After that we took him to the school and played with him for a bit and got some really cute pictures of him outside. It was a beautiful day out today. 

Now we’re just chillin’ for a bit and then we are headed to HAWKS for a yummy dinner with the ‘rents!

I have to go now because my Husband, The Backseat Blogger, is bugging the shit out of meeeeeee!
