A personal pet peeve:
When people ask something that could so blatantly be answered by just taking a few minutes to search Google! It bugs me, bad. I always use Google to my advantage. When I have a question about anythiing (weird rash, wordpress, parenting, food, allergies, dog shit coloration’s, etc) ANYTHING, I tell you. I exhaust my resources before I turn to the people of the nets! Yesterday I did and felt annoying. (crackle paint) But, I was seriously not finding the answers to my specific questions. So I get it. But, sometimes it’s like shit, have you heard of that insanely popular company that has essentially taken over the world with all their smarts? Google. Yeah, they can probably help you figure out a lot of things.
Because let me tell you, when you ask a really dumb question and I see it. I’m probably judging you.

Been there, done that! I have a certain family member that asks the silliest questions, thinking that my husband knows the answer. All my husband does is just google it. Its so frustrating!

I must admit, I usually do both. =( At least with mommy & blog stuff. I trust other moms opinions more than I do most Google searches and I like having the communication that is void online and with tech companies, etc.
That being said, I am sure it drives people crazy. Let this be my world wide web apology.
Oh Tiffany, i understand that. Sometimes it is seriously dumb stuff though ( not you ) I'm just like Jeezus, in my head. And I understand for opinion purposes as well, obviously that's better than searching random websites.
This is the absolute MOST ANNOYING THING about pregnancy message boards ever. Like, stop asking if it's ok to eat lettuce or cheese or tylenol or whatever and just GOOGLE IT. Although I am totally guilty of using Twitter like my own personal blog tech support system, but only because y'all know the answers WAY FASTER than Google does.
google is my bff. I don’t know why I even needed school. Google tells me everything I ever need to know.
Hehe I'm guilty of it when I'm feeling quite lazy. But ahh how amazing is Google. And WebMd. And if you find a great website to teach me how to use WordPress, please sure.

Ditto Suzanne. My days on the good ol' Bump made me familiar with the phrase "Google is your friend." But, like Tiffany, I'm guilty of tweeting out "Quick–what's the best X, Y, or Z." And I should probably just Google it and save everyone the massive eye roll.

Hmn I'm guilty of the Tweet ask. I also have Googled and exhausted that option before, unless it's 4am and I am on my iPhone and my eyes are too burny to see iPhone sized Safari.
Sometimes I either want someone to verify what I found OR give me another option.
That said, I DO get annoyed at people who ask things that are not only easily found on Google, but are common sense!
