My kid turned into a walking machine this weekend! He’s been technically walking for a bit now but he hasn’t been confident with it.  When we’ve tried to get him to walk for friends or family he’d take two steps and fall to his knees and start clapping.

Sunday, something changed.  His confidence finally was there.  He walked around our house all day.  He usually does walk more at home because he’s comfortable here but, it’s always mixed with crawling.  Not anymore.  He now officially walks more than he crawls.  One foot flatted, the other on his tippy toes.  Kinda funny but, whatever works.   He has a really proud of himself look on his face while he’s doing it.

what else, what else?

OH! I’ve been teaching MJ to say “thank you”.  He will say it if I say it first, & only about 50% of the time. But, yesterday we were hanging out at my brother’s house (basking in his AC) & my niece handed him his sippy cup, and he replied with “tee you”.  I about died! He’s never said it with out being prompted, he knew when to say it you guys! And then about 30 minutes later he said it again to my nephew at the correct time for giving him some crackers! I was so damn impressed and proud of him.

OK that’s all for now I suppose.  I haven’t been to into keeping my blog up properly lately for some reason. This post took me all day to complete.

***also I got a new iPhone 4 last week and have been glued to it in my free time.  So that too probably explains lackluster views towards blogging this last week.  I even made that little video of MJ on my iPhone using the iMovie app in like 5 minutes***
