It’s true.  You really, truly do.  While I’ve never actually visited the Garden State I enjoy it through television and Movies.  If a reality show is based in Jersey, or has anything to do with Jersey I will watch it.

It started with Mtv. Back in the day. I think I watched a “True Life: Ive got a summer share” or something to that effect.  It was right then that I was enthralled with it.  I believe there were a few rounds of the ‘summer shares’ over the years, I watched every single one, several times.

Then The Real Housewives of New Jersey hit the airwaves.  I LOVE RHW.  So obviously The New Jersey episodes were definitely going to be watched by me.  Theresa I think has got to be my favorite.  Her thick Jersey accent makes me happy.  And her little forehead confuses me. Kinda like Kimora Lee-Simmons weird neck.   I mean really, why is it so little?   The other day my husband and I were driving somewhere and I actually used her forehead as a reference. I was like “oh wow that’s really little, like Theresa’s forehead”.  And Danielle’s craziness makes me feel like an upstanding human being at all times!

BUT what really did me in: Jersey Shore.  Judge on. I don’t even care.  From the second it aired I was done. Fugetaboutit! I LOVE LOVE LOVE The Jersey Shore.  All of the ‘characters’ on this show amuse me to no end!  It sucked my husband in as well.  The new season starts this Thursday, go set your DVR right now!  I watched 75% of season one over the weekend, just to get it all fresh in my head.   Guidos, spray tans, fights, gorilla juice heads, poofs, oh mannnnnnnnnnnn. I can’t WAIT!  My husband and I have been known to talk with our best ‘Jersey accents’ after watching an episode of the shore, for the remainder of the evening.

Since Jersey Shore I will watch anything that has to do with Jersey. Which gets pretty ridiculous. Enter: Jersey Couture & Jerseylicious!   <-could be the two most ridiculous shows I’ve ever watched. And yet I still find myself combing the “On Demand” section to see if any new episodes have populated.

PS, I would just like to add that I in no way think in my head that Jersey is full of orange, fist-pumping idiots.  I know that Jersey is filled with amazingness aside from the silliness we see on TV.
