Yes, you read that correctly.

You can use just about any cupcake recipe you like. Or if you’re like me- I’m not the best with baking so I tend to just go with a solid box of yummieness from the grocery store. Funfetti is always a good choice.

  • make your cupcakes according the the ‘cupcake’ directions on the the box or your recipe.
  • pour your batter into your ice cream cones until they are about 3/4 full.  If you fill them too much they just spill over the top and it looks super messy. I’d advise that when you are filling the cones if you make a mess and get it on the outside of the cone to wipe it off. It just looks better once you are all done.
  • Bake according to regular cupcake directions. I found that I had to bake a few minutes longer.
  • I just put them in regular cupcake tins, standing up, & just put them really carefully into the stove.
  • Let them cool and then have fun frosting!
