My best friends wedding was on Saturday. Boy oh boy, what a BEAUTIFUL time it was. I seriously had a great time. I think I was more of a stress case than the Bride was all day, typical really. Everything was perfect. I mean, aside from a few minor things not going exactly as planned, but no one except a few of the bridal party noticing is a major wedding day win.
I was so emotional about Terra’s wedding. I’ve been friends with her for almost 11 years now & have watched her grow up. She’s always been responsible but I’ve just watched her grow into a strong Mother & Woman. I was so happy to see her finally meet the one. She didn’t have the easiest path at finding him. As cliche as it sounds, she had to kiss a few frogs before she met her Prince & even then I think it took her a while to let him become the Prince that she was needing. He loves her & her son, Mason so much & that’s so important to me. That he loves both of them. They are going to be a beautiful little family & hopefully in the near future add to that family!
The wedding day really was the Brides dream wedding. It was stunning from the bouquets, to the table center pieces, to the food, it was all just wonderful. I sat back from the head table that was kinda over looking the entire reception & thought to myself “how gorgeous is this…everything is so beautiful”. It really was. I was beyond happy to be so involved in their special day.
A few pictures from the day:

Husband & I

Peeking out to make sure everything is perfect before we start.

Terra & Her son. This made me cry. Kinda neat to have your child there on your wedding day even though it isn't "traditional".

Erin & I

Let's get marrrrrriiiiiiiiieeeeeddd

bad picture but the Candy Bar was sooooo cute!

Cake Cutting.
So much fun! Now the couple are on a plane on their way to Hawaii. I’m only slightly jealous.

Cleaning out closets.

My closet. I wish I took a before picture. My bedroom was covered in piles of laundry that wouldn’t fit into my bulging closet. I got rid of 4! Garbage bags of clothes/shoes today. F. O. U. R. I was proud of myself for parting with all those items, some even still had tags! I pretty much got rid of almost everything pre pregnancy I owned. My body is different now. Those clothes would’ve never fit me properly again, no sense in letting them take up space any longer!
Sundays are for playing in the water on a 100 degree day!

Zombie Milo.
Sundays are for a spicy, delicious, spaghetti dinner.

Sundays are for baking cupcakes on the kitchen floor.

Sundays are for snuggling on the floor with the dog before bed.

Happy Sunday.

No! Not that kind of party, get your head out of the gutter.
For the past month or so I’ve been doing “bed dates” with Milo. We grab the lap top & head to my room, get cozy in my bed with our blankies & pillows, turn down the light & find something to watch on Netflix. Sometimes it’s a movie, last night happened to be an episode of Yo Gabba Gabba!

It’s nice to cuddle with my little boy & he LOVES this time. We co-slept a little in the first few months Milo was a fresh bebeh but, it was just something that never really worked for us. He was most comfortable & happy sleeping on his own, & we were happy not sleeping on the edges of our queen bed to ensure he had enough space. He thinks it’s really neat to hang out in our bed & runs to our room & jumps in our bed – pulling the covers over himself when I ask him if he wants to watch a movie in our bed. I hope that he continues to enjoy this as much as I do for at least a few more years!
I love that something so simple makes both of us so happy.

Saturday we discovered an event called Pet-A-Palooza going on at our local park. We live extremely close to the park so we came home, got some supplies & the wagon & the dog & headed back to the park. It was SO FUN. I wanted to leave with like 15 dogs I saw. So many amazing different breeds of dogs were there, we loved it. Delicious food, beer garden, dogs, live band. It had the making for a fun day. (Side note: We definitely saw a few dogs that resembled their owners. So funny.) About an hour into it we had to come home, MJ wasn’t feeling too hot. He just wasn’t himself, at all. He is obsessed with dogs & we figured he’d be going bananas over so many dogs & he seriously could have cared less. Sure fire sign he wasn’t feeling well, so we came home & relaxed the rest of the day.

Sunday/Father’s Day: Started off with me making Mercer breakfast. Complete with heart shaped bacon & a Pabst Blue Ribbon because I’m a rad wife. Later on in the day we headed to a BBQ in Lincoln with some of my family. It was super nice to just hang out on a breezy afternoon in the park.

Hanging Out. Bailey & Milo, cousins that severely love each other. A bad pic of my Brother & I drinking wine out of empty water bottles, we're classy like that. My niece, Bailey & I.

Randoms: My hair was straight up scary. Right after I unpinned it a bird flew out of it. Little Molly & Aunty Terra stopped by for a bit Saturday evening, MJ of course made her read to him. GPOY, a pic of me. I liked it. OK?!
