Yesterday was the hubby’s Birthday. The big two seven! He was able to get the day off of work to spend with Milo and I.  We got a really late start to the day cause Milo and I were being major sleepy heads and finally got up for the day at like 12:30pm. Then we had to go get our PO Box and mail transfered there and to DMV to register Mercer’s car. DMV is such a gross place. The people watching is phenomenal but it’s no where you want to bring a baby for an hour. Yuck. Was so happy to get out of there.

Then we cruised around the mall for a bit and then headed home to get ready for dinner. Mercer, Milo, and I went to HAWKS for Mercer’s birthday dinner and it was great!!!! Milo was an angel and slept the entire time on the seat next to me. Mike (our brother-in-law and THE chef there) just sent us out food, we did no ordering from the menu. It was awesome. I think we ended up having like seven delicious courses! And Mercer got the cutest dessert. Such a good time.

After our huge dinner we came home and hopped in the hot tub for a little while to relax. It was a very nice evening.

I felt so bad for him this morning. He rear ended a chick on the freeway this morning. So NOT what anyone feels like dealing with at like 4:30am. Everyone was fine though.

Man oh man was this a busy weekend for Me.

Friday night we just hung around the house and didn’t do much of anything cause I had to be up super early for the garage sale I was doing with my sister the next morning.

I didn’t fall asleep until 2am and woke up at 5am to get ready to head over to my sisters. This was my first garage sale and quickly learned what was up. I thought I was being productive by putting price tags on everything in advance. What a waste of time. Two hours into it I had ripped all the tags off because they were useless. Its all about the haggle! People Do NOT care about what kind of price tag you have on there. I saw some real characters through out the day. The Vet that smoked weed that stayed around for a half hour to chat with us that ultimately ended up buying a $2.00 item was my favorite! I made like $150.00 with the added bonus of a sun burn.  I’m pretty sure we are going to do it again next weekend just to try an get rid of the  rest of our stuff!

That evening we went and dd some shopping and then had a delicios BBQ dinner outback and watched the Jon and Kate E! Special.

Then today… Fathers Day. Mercers very First Fathers Day in fact. I tried my best to make it a nice day for him. This morning I got up and made him cupakes that looked like hamburgers! I fully admit I was not the brainchild behind the hamburger cupcakes. I copied the idea from someone else, and the Hello Cupcake book. They were super fun to make, especially cause Mercer is a cazy hamburger lover. Then we had brunch with some f the family at Hawks. After that we just hung out as a family around the house and later on MIlo and  took Mercer to a surprise dinner and Bunz  & Company. Which by the way was super yummy. Mercer had a great day, which made me super happy to hear him say.

We had a great weekend and hope everyone else did as well

The past wee has been really great for the most part. Mercer was home every single night with me, except Monday.  Wednesday didn’t go exactly how we wanted it to by I’m over it and am just ready for my son to be here. However he chooses to come.

Friday Mercer was home at a totally normal time which was awesome! We went and did a little shopping and he told me I deserved the purse I wanted and took me to the store to buy it. When I was looking at up close I decided I didn’t like it anymore. It looked better from far away. It was still a nice little bag. It was L.A.M.B. for LeSportsac but I don’t think it was worth $125.00. So we went to several other places to find me a purse for the same price but I couldn’t find anything I liked.  Then we went and had a yummy little din din at Mimi’s. So we get into the car and I look at my phone and it says like 8:40 but my clock on the radio says 7:40. I have no clue how to change the time on my car radio. So the entire evening Mercer and I were totally not thinking that it was really an hour later. Consequently we missed out on hanging out with Terra and the girls  before they went out on the Party Bus for Terra’s 28th birthday! I was sad, and felt like a major asshole to boot. I will make it up to her post-baby.

Saturday Mercer worked in the morning and I went and got a manicure and my toe-nail color changed. I LOVE my nail lady (minus her hummin’ ass breath). She was cracking me up the entire time and telling me all about how she loves tattoo’s and her eyebrows are tattooed on! She’s my new favorite.  Later on we went and ran some errands and went to Target. I got some awesome stuff there! I was so happy. I even got a cute little purse from there for like $20.00! I was pretty stoked.  Then a hella good lunch at some Mexican place and our server was just walking around the restaurant singing her little heart out. It was funny and annoying all at once.  Later on in the evening LaNita and Steve stopped by and hung out with us for a little while.

Sunday was the best though! I had a super hard time getting in gear in the morning due to complete lack of sleep and allergies. We were a little late getting to brunch at HAWKS with the family. I was a bit of a zombie during brunch, I was sleepy, bummed I couldn’t have any yummy brunch drinks, and was having contractions.  Brunch was fabulous as always though. I LOVE the little side of spinach that comes with the Egg’s Benedict. I should have ordered extra of that! I could eat an entire plate of it.  After brunch we headed back to Mercer’s parents house to celebrate three of the five little girls birthday’s. They were born within like three months of eachother so we lump them together for a celebration in April. It’s easiest! It was such a fun day. I did a little sun bathing in the back yard and now have the most retarded tan ever! It’s bad. Played with the kids forever on the swings! AND the best part, Baby Lucy came back to the house with all of us and we played with her for a while before her nap. I ADORE HER! She had the cutest little Easter bonnet on all day. She looks insanely like her mother, which is great. Her mama is beautiful. I swear all the kids in our family are so damn cute!  Such a nice day.,

When we got home I started feeling really bad, physically. I was having horrible pain in the lower belly area and the baby would NOT stop moving. It went on for like two hours.  Finally, thank God it stopped. I was starting to think I was going to have to go to the hospital.  I determined later on that the baby had “dropped”. My stomach is a lot lower hanging this morning and actually feels a little bit better cause he’s not so smooshed under my ribs anymore.

Overall, I would have to say this was one of the best weekends I’ve had in some time. My hubs pretty much spoiled me this weekend. Not just materially but just overall with love. He is pretty amazing.  And we got completely up to date with all of the South Park episodes from this season. We ended up just buying the season on iTunes. South Park uncensored is awesome! I have to say the first episode is my favorite so far.  BUT I the episode, “Eat, Pray, Queef” had me pretty blown away the entire episode. LOL.

Tomorrow I have a doctor’s appointment! Hopefully we will know the baby’s birthday as of tomorrow afternoooooooooooooon! YAY. After being with Baby Lucy yesterday and we are beyond anxious for him to arrive!

xoxo
