I think I’m going to start reviewing apps from time to time on here. Between my husband and I, well, we download a LOT of apps. Especially photo apps. Those seem to be my favorites. Right now I just cleaned up the app space, & deleted ones I don’t use anymore. I currently have two folders of photo apps.

This picture was taken with Hipstamatic. This is my very favorite iPhone photo app. We own every possible lens, flash, camera etc for this app. Whenever something new comes out for it I make sure to download it. If you do it that way you don’t notice it in the bank account. =) You can currently share your images via Facebook, Flickr, Tumblr, or through email. Anyone see what’s missing? ya, TWITTER! My obsession, probably yours too. That is why lately I’ve resorted to using Instagram. Instagram is slightly similar to Hipstamatic but you can immediately upload to Twitter, which makes it funner. On occassion I will upload a hipstamatic print to instagram and then post that way but, I don’t like doing that because Instagram gets the credit, when they shouldn’t. SO, Hipstamatic people are you listening? When is the twitter update coming? Hopefully soon.

This picture is a combo of photo Apps.
For the awesome collage effect I used the Diptic App. I’m Loving this App. It sure beats uploading all my pics to picnik.com & doing a collage on there & then doing whatev with it. The iPhone does it for me, & fast.
After the collage was finished I used an app called Color Splash. This app lets you make a color focal point in a b&w photo, & it’s SO MUCH EASIER to do on this app than doing it on other sites like photobucket. It probably took me under 2 minutes to do the pink part of the lollipop. It’s definitely a fun app to mess around with. Lastly, I uploaded the pic to Instagram & applied a lovely filter & then….you guessed it, Uploaded it twitter!
Next is an app that I just discovered last week, 100 Cameras in 1. I’m not completely sure how I feel about it yet. I think I like it. It’s really neat because you can layer & layer& layer effects. Lots to choose from but, not too many that are amazing. For now it will stay in my photo app folder. I’m anxious to see if any more fun effects come out for it with future updates. Below you will see one picture I took & then what it looked like after each layer of effects I applied to it, & finally my end result that I thought looked pretty cool.

Another pic modified with 100 Cameras in 1.

Incredibooth! A photobooth in your pocket.
Not much to explain here except I really like it. Has 3 different options to get the desired effect you were looking for.

I’ve downloaded a LOT of photo apps. These? are the best though.
